Well you guys are all going to think this is boring , but this is my pride and joy:

It's not high speed and you don't get the wind in your hair but she's carried us for over 20,000 miles around europe covering 10 countries in the last 8 years. She's just come out of winter wraps and now to prep for a 2 month trip through France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, and Italy. Cheers. Alwyn

I had the original Fireblade back in 1992. I loved that bike and wish I'd kept it.

At present I'm running around in a Ford Mondeo 2lt Auto. but this is lurking in the the big shed

Yamaha RD 400E had one from new ( WRP 743 S ). When I met the wife a real beast!! the bike not the wife (then again) so not the same bike
But i dont think i will ever get to ride her again

Miss my rd400 had a cool plate as well BBV 400V white and red replaced it with a red GS1000

I ride the good old reliable Honda cb 500 ,& would you believe it some thieving little shit nicked my oxford rainex cover off it during the small hours ,good job the bike was chained up safely to my other bike & had a disc lock on as well, I would like to cut the hands off the twat to teach them not to nick outher peoples stuff ,tanker 242

Hi all
Just found this post I'm afraid I must be the old fuddy I have only rode BSA's ( Batam 125 x2, B31 and then finally Ex police A65 with a full prodution Race engine curtesy of our local racer Sid Sisson at that time) from when I was nine on the farm until 2001 when a farmer left 3" mud on the mud right on the apex of a bend, 7 breaks in the right leg later and the wife banned me from riding.
She has finally releted and now me and my sons ride again, Eldest on a Triumph GT1100 Tourer, and me and my youngest on 2 Honda FJS600 silverwings.

This one has 179,863miles on her and mine has 80,234miles still original engines and my poor eldest son's triumph has only 5,789 miles. We don't have give him some ribbing about when his gets to our milage we might stop calling it Junior.

Sadly I recently sold my 900 Hornet, loved the bike, probably the best I have ever owned, and I have had plenty over the years. Those mileages are impressive, I have friends who have racked up 100,000 on their VFR's and we all thought that was amazing, but yours take the biscuit.
