Thanks Chris,

I've got to say I'm loving the project, the basic kit is just a joy to work on.

I've prototyped a few road wheels solutions and this was the simplest, not as accurate as I'd like but a decent representation. Your metal road wheels are nothing short of amazing, but I set a budget before I started - £350 for the full build inc electronics.

What I am struggling to resolve is the transmission wheel, I only have hand tools so options are limited. Both prototypes I had failed with the torque from the 3:1 gearbox I installed!

The 1st C is getting there, would love to do a Crusader next!

Had a Sherman out tonight for some repairs and couldn't resist a side by side.

Morning,

Yes, I used PzIII headlights - filing the back off to make them slightly more rounded, as much as I could without breaking through the plastic. It was the closest size headlights I could find.

so far I've spent 24 hours on the build, but now the detail work starts.....spent 2 hours last night sticking over 100 nuts, rivets and bolts on and still loads to do!!
