Not ANOTHER project ( Matorro KT modification )

Well I have gone and done it again. Started ANOTHER project without finishing the ones I have on the go ( well it's to damp to spray the paper Panzer yet ). So I got the new KT and the electrics were not in working order ( as advertised ) and I thought I am on nights I might as well see if I can do a swap for an RX 14 board. And that is where I should have stopped. Instead I modified the rear panel in order to add some strength to the rear hull sides. Sorted the rest of the electrics on Friday and then thought what if ??. You guessed it on Saturday out came the dermmel and of came the side guards and front mudflaps. Then some sanding and filling and a little detail work ( graft on an old Tamiya KT barrel ). Next thing I know it's 02.45 Sunday morning and I am posting this, so enjoy. As allways comments and observations welcome. All the best for now

Looking good Alan, I'm hoping to pick up a KT some time soon myself.
By the way, is that the kitchen worktop?
I would be speaking with a very high pitched voice if I tried that!

Hi Guy's to be honest the "paper Panzer" is on hold till the weather get's a bit better before I put the ambush cammo colours on ( going to follow mcevoyi's pantiger type of colour scheme as I have Tony Greenlands book to follow ). Don't want to risk ruining that build just to get it done. I will get it finished as soon as the snow and freezing weather is gone. I am on standby for work next week so nothing will get done, the week after I am on shift cover so I hope to get something done then. So keep your eyes on this topic  . All the best for now

PS Off to Lanzarote on the 22nd for a week so NOTHING will be done then either ( except eating, drinking, and  "catching some ray's"  and did I say drinking ? ). On an up note though at least the KT is now a runner

Oh and I got the chassis wings extended to reach the hull sides this will stop a lot of crud getting into the interior compartment. All the best for now
