OK scratch the Famo, too expensive! At that price I'd be able to just get the Jagdtiger. So maybe the German 3 ton 4 wheel drive truck instead.

As for the CX5 it's a nice little truck with great reviews for the past like 5 years. The only small SUV that ranks higher is the Acura MDX which is much more expensive and I don't like Hondas.

Get the JT mate, do the wait I'm sure it will reward you more than a compromised option.

The current crop of Mazdas are sure great cars & ultra reliable. Down here the Mazda 3 knocked the Toyota Corrola off the top for the third year running.
Besides, once3 you get all your tanks in one place for transport, the rear of the 5 will be more useful than the Pontiac/Holden :D

I went back and re-read the emails from Christian and if I am correct in what he was pricing it for I SHOULD be able to get it here in the next couple weeks.

If I am able to get it I just need to figure out how to attach the pieces of the aluminum lower together. I thought I had a friend that could weld it but as it turns out he can not do aluminum. I'm thinking of talking to the owner of a custom exhaust shop in the area who should be able to but I don't know if he will or not. Not sure it epoxy would hold it or not, any one have ideas? Herman?

It looks as though my getting this kit is just not meant to happen. My mom was diagnosed with MRSA or "mersa" virus and is not doing well at all, as in we've had to contact funeral directors not well. She's underwent 8 surgeries so far on her left shoulder and chest and is due for another one tomorrow because she will suddenly just start bleeding VERY heavily from where the infection was. As it turns out mom had no life insurance and funerals are VERY costly things so all my savings for the tank are now being held should the worst happen. If she pulls though and makes it to a rehab center maybe then I can go ahead with my plans but for now everything is on hold.

If anyone here wouldn't mind saying a prayer for my mom the more the better.

Sorry to bum anyone out but I've had several PM's asking me about when I;m going to start this build so I thought this would work better then waiting for more PM's.

Sorry to hear of your mom medical issues. Prayers are in route. The tank can wait, family comes first.
