Post by Steelhammer »

A little while ago someone said that I should?d consider upgrading my NiMH battery on my Taigen T34.

Who would be a good seller to go to for price AND good service please for a better power pack and a decent charger ?

I go along with JAKE's recommendation although I have to mention that when I ordered my CHARGER it took nearly two months getting to me!! But when I mentioned it on the Forum lots of people came forward telling me that I was unlucky, The charger is great but it did not come with instructions so I had to go on-line to download them. you will need instructions. An alternative to HOBBY KING is a company recommended to me by SCALYWAG of recent memory, good prices and speedy delivery,

you could do worse than look at their site. shaun

With Hobby King unfortunately it all depends on where they have the product you want and that that drives which carrier they use and hence the various delivery time. I have between two days to a couple of weeks on various purchases so it is a bit of a crap shoot.

Again please bear with me (complete novice, still) I have just got the Taigen T34 with the small 1700 battery, there isn't much room inside for anything else I guess. Anybody link me to a higher capacity battery in the UK that will fit inside the T34 with minimal fuss?

Thanks

Tony Hi, Most dealers that you visit on line will include the dimensions of the batteries they are selling as well as lots of other useful information. If you know the basic specifications of the battery you are after then all you need do is go to the supplier that interests you and you will soon see what you are after. It is worth remembering that our hobby has almost exclusively TAMIYA connectors fitted to the battery and the starting line for battery power is 7.2 and I would not in common practice go above7.2x 5000  shaun
