Hi everyone.
I recently joined after finding this site in a search while doing some research. I've been into RC from many years mostly into vintage Tamiya and a kyosho building a collection of cars and buggies I've always wanted as a kid. I got a bit carried away with the cars, so I decided to go into a different direction and collect a few tanks that I've always wanted. I recently acquired a Taigen M26 Pershing, and a Heng Long Tiger 1 to basically see what made them tick,....then very recently acquired a Tamiya King Tiger and first issue Tamiya Sherman. I'm having fun so far but I think I will probably turn one of the first 2 into a hybrid since I've seen what can be done to them. So I hope I can learn a thing or two from you all and maybe help return the favor. Glad to be here.

Re: Hi from Ottawa Canada
edpanzer ...thank you
...as for the collection, I have friends with more but my hobby room is quite full. It's amazing what one can do when they're not keeping track lol.
sarge8888 ..... I too modeled for quite a while, started as a kid. I still have boxes full of Tamiya and Hasegawa kits that haven't even been started. RC has been my passion since the mid eighties though, and then I started to collect and restore in the late 90's so I've been at it for a while. Sometimes everything lies dormant for a while, then I start at it again... life gets in the way lol ...but its a fun place to be.
will post pics when time permits.

Adie Hi, From HENG LONG to TAMIYA! You will certainly get a feel for this hobby when you build Tanks with such different pedigree's. Welcome to the Forum and remember we are here to help, just ask.
