Is everyone on March break? Haven't seen any posts for a few days. I'm working on converting a M5 Stuart back to a M3 Stuart. A real chore and a lot of brain strains... LOL

It's probably a combination of the 6 nations (some amazing rugby!) and the spring weather. I will be posting my Abrams pics today or tomorrow plus the start of the M7 Priest - been busy! Alwyn

Alwyn It's not just the rugby and the spring weather.
Unfortunately due to the cutbacks we have had to let the dancing girls go!!
But the real reason for the apparent lack of activity is the nations excitement for the imminent general election (be still my beating heart) that and the obvious speed with which the grass is growing.
I speak only for myself but I was watching World Superbike's at 0530 this morning and that might account for the absence of some of us. :haha:  shaun
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Good Evening,
Been receiving parts from Hawaii for this year's 1/6 Stuart redo, a set of rubber link tracks and solid idlers. The StuG is awaiting the next couple of pieces of metal detailing and after that arrives, time to make a decision on what sort of lower to use. The Taigen Tiger kit is awaiting the StuG's completion. Stuff in the pipeline, waiting for parts, the same old, same old. ;o)
regards,
Painless

Got to hand it to you there mate, this seasons 6 nations was a ball-tearer.
I really like the accumulation process over the traditional finals game scenario.
All teams had to keep playing hard, and no winner was known until all games were played & the maths was done.
Sure does remove the one bad game in the season problem which in a finals match could be caused by injury, weather, and a world of other influences.

Ireland are going to be a massive threat to the establishment in the world cup this year.

I had the time zone advantage on this round Mr Jarndice, the Thai races turned out to be a real demonstration of power & control by J.Rea
You will have all the best viewing over the next month from Arragon & Assen. :/
I would love a Honda resurgence, but I'm not seeing it soon

Hi Ed, unfortunately for the last few seasons F1 has just been a high speed procession of whoever's got the fastest car combined with team pit stop tactics, and very little racing skill other than keeping the cars on the track. I'm not decrying the drivers skills but the cars just never seem to be closely enough matched for performance for any real racing to occur. Just my opinion really but it makes for some very boring racing. Herman I thought the rugby was three games of edge-of-the-seat go get em stuff that entertained from start to finish with the champion not known until the last ten minutes of the last match. Gripping stuff. Alwyn

Ed Hi, If I wanted to watch cars go round in never ending circles I would make up a pack of sandwiches and take myself off to the nearest roundabout!
After you see a Moto GP rider cornering on his elbows the sight of Lewis Hamilton threatening Nico Rosberg with handbags at dawn just doesn't hack it.
I used to love F1 but that ended when first the great Jim Clark died in a simple little F2 race and then probably the greatest natural driver since Juan Manual Fangio the one and only Ayrton Senna died because of the criminal imposition of a concrete block directly in line with the run off line.
After that I lost heart for the sport, what's the point if even the very best die through such neglect? shaun
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:
