A shame that thread just ended mid build a year ago, I doubt we'll ever see the finished product and it looked fantastic so far. I think I may just get the German 3 ton truck after reading the problems he had with it throwing tracks.

About the half track. It has a 27mhz radio and the radio range is terrible, at least on mine. If it gets more than ten feet away, you'll have to catch up to have it continue.

You need fresh batteries, mine can drive half a block away just fine

Track pin if your location was close to me I could show you one in the flesh as to say but I have 2 and they both lift the front wheels on rough ground but still I have to admit they are fun . Not the best but fun

This has been the condition since new, no radio range. Batteries aren't the problem in this case, don't know what is however.

Joe, have you opened it up to make sure the antena is hooked up?

In looking at the parts list for the Famo I see they sell the front diff and leaf springs as a whole unit and the motor with transfer case. This may be able to be used to make the M16 have the front wheels actualy drive the truck rather then just sit there and the leaf springs ma enable it to have some movement in the suspension. But I would need to find out the gear ratio it uses and the one that the M16 uses to see if they'll work together.

Either that or I may just sell the M16 to help fund the Famo and be done with it. :haha:

No Jack I haven't. I'll have to take a look inside. Is finding the receiver an easy job or a days work?
