what l.e.d is best for the head light on the kv1 & t 34/85

hi guys I have a problem with the l.e.d in the headlight on my kv1 ,I changed the headlight lens & reconnected the red & black wires to the l.e.d but now the l.e.d wont work I might need to replace it so what type of l.e.d will I need tanker 242

Hi Tanker 243 - Did you reconnect the wires to the L.E.D. the same way round ? - They only work one way ( been there , done that Lol ) B .

hi blimp yes I did red to red black to black , re connected the red wire to the red , & re solder`d the black wire to the long pin on the l.e.d where it had come off,tanker 242

Look inside the LED, the small side is the positive side and the large side the negative. Don't go by wire colors unless you know it worked before.

thanks for the link blimp, have now got it working again ,[loose conection on cathode side ,re solder`d] also got some l.e.d`s with resistors from maplins,so can now also add rear light to my kv,t34/85,tiger1,&pzr 4,tanker 242.
