Hello from the Isle of wight
Hi there everyone just dropping in to say hello from the sunny Isle of wight. Primarily a 1/6 scale star wars figure builder hence the name I love my tanks but never seem to complete a project ( have a heng long Sherman that has the usual upgrades plus home grown corrected recoil) Recently bought the new HL Abrams from Germany with allegedly metal gears boxes. Guess my translation was off as plastic gears. Looking forward to at last indulging my love of tanks with a comprehensive work over of the Abrams.
Cheers Vm

Vm Hi, Welcome to the Forum,
You will of course be incredibly rich?
I say this because the only way I know that gets rid of your cash quicker is to throw it in the bin
, A loving understanding partner and an extremely patient Bank Manager are the basic requirements,
After that comes the artistry of a Micheal-angelo and a love of detail that would terrify a watchmaker,
And we do this for fun!!!
Enjoy this place and please do ask questions.

I think I am about to upset someone

Re: Hello from the Isle of wight
G'day mate, good to have a guy in from a smaller Island than me !! (New Zealand born)
Mr Jarndice forgot to mention you must posess the patience of a saint when waiting for parts delivery, things that are not right with your new purchase, shipping hassles............
etc blah,blah
As for myself as an example lacking the scholastic skills necessary to spel adjective, let alone use one correctly, pictures please.
I'm a step above sub titles, but definitely like pictures
As for Star Wars...............I went to EVERY session of the release in 1977 on the same day in New Zealand.
From the 01100hrs, to the 1430hrs,1730hrs,2030hrs and the ultimate...........2300hrs
I was 10 years old.
Could recite every line, phrase and had all the marketing hardware that was available by years end.
Then they bought in teddy bears. Lost me.!!
