So, I'm no to all this. Looking at getting a Tamiya Panzer IV. Whats the best/recomended controller/radio gear to get? I assume it needs to be 6 channel?

If you talk to http://www.rctanksaustralia.com you can get a Turnigy 9xr properly adjusted to working with r/c Tanks and it should be around £100 complete.

Re: Recomended Radio Gear?
Hi Mike,
With tamiya you need a 4 channel radio I have FUTARBA 40Mhz -FM they also do a 2.4Ghz. I have seen on here that some guys have had problems with the some other radios you must have analog trims to work ALLof the functions on the tank. The turnigy is a good radio but I like the futarba witch I have used now for over 40 years
and has never let me down. Hopes this info helps. Brian...
