Panzer III Road Wheels

Post by martinglester »

Hi Guys,

Quick question, I have a HL Panzer III and have been having a bit of an issue with the road wheels separating over rough terrain. It isn't a major problem as they just pop back together but I wondered if anybody had glued these together to stop it happening and if so what sort of adhesive you used!

Thanks in advance,

Martin

I just used a dab of polycement to hold them on dude, just use a dab so that you can get them apart again if you need to!

Hi Martin,
Invest in a set of metal wheels so much better they have rubber tyres. Brian...

Thanks for the replies, will give the polycement a go, think I have some humbrol stuff floating about somewhere. Metal wheels are the final plan but have spent quite a bit already so won't get away with it right now!

Already replaced sprockets, idlers and suspension with metal and have black steel gearboxes and metal tensioners to fit. Thinking metal tracks and wheels sometime in the future and i will probably be happy..... planning to paint afrikz korps camo.

Hadn't thought of fathers day.....
