1/16 military figures - where are they

Post by puramo »

Hallo all

where do people get 1/16 scale figures for their tanks at a decent price, can't find much, there are a few Tamiya offerings, but not much cop for action figures on the tank (tons of stuff in 1/35 but almost nothing in 1/16) :(
BC: I couldn't do that. Could you do that? Why can they do it? Who are those guys?

Verlinden, Dragon Hobby on e-bay has the best selection...

Hi Puramo, I also battled looking for 1/16 figures even at silly prices, but found these at 1/18 which I reckon are fairly close

You can sometimes find figures at 120mm if you search on ebay. regards, Alwyn

Thanks for the input

I really want figures that I paint myself, in the same vein as the AFV kits etc.. so
it looks like the auction sites are the best bet,
I'll keep looking

(Dragon make some superb 1/35 figures, have as yet never seen their 1/16 offerings but will keep a sharp look out)

B&A are excellent, most tank hobby sites carry figures, historex agents carry most Verlinden stuff, heikes modellbau in German have excellent figures. Try googling 120mm figures and you will get masses.
