Re: here is my first tank
Good base to start with. I have one - well half of one(missing turret) and it was great to put together the way I wanted it.
If anything mine is to light, could do with a lot of internal ballast to maked the suspension work a bit more realistically.
Outside of that,
I wonder if proper sewing machine oil would make good smoker compound ?

There are two paint schemes to choose from if to be more or less historically accurate. These tanks were used from the first day of war up to the point where they stopped making them about 1943 or 1944, but they still used the chassis to build Stugs. Anyway you can either keep the panzer grey or, paint it in sand yellow (Afrika Korps). That or an eastern front yellow and greeon or ywllow and brown (did not often see photos of Mk II tanks with the multicam).
You can do a lot with panzer grey. If you just concentrate on shading it's not hard to make the paint job pop for you!

This one was simple to paint and it's hard to go wrong with the color. I used two shades of grey from rattle can primer, sprayed in irregular overlapping patches, blended into each other as much as possible. Then I used a darker grey to airbrush the edges.

Marc780,
your right it looks well how can I say it just looks right!! the Panzer 111 back in its day was the king of the battlefield, it was so far ahead of anything the allies had at the time, it was a great chassis.

Kevpro,
sorry I also forgot to say, if yours is the the airsoft version the barrel will be way over scale, its one of the best after market upgrades is to get a scale barrel, but alas you will loose the bb gun.
