Hi Kevpro, welcome to the forum, sounds like you have already been bitten by the tanking obsession. This hobby is seriously addictive and makes large holes in your finances. Anyway enjoy the forum and happy tanking (pics are always welcome). Regards Alwyn

Kevin a warm welcome to the Forum,
The bogies and indeed any moving part of a HENG LONG Tank held in place by self tapping screws can be usefully secured with threadlock, keeping the threadlock free from the moving part!
As to "IR" there are a number of issues here,
first, HENG LONG have pretty much stopped making "IR" Tanks so getting more will be harder,
Second, If you do not have a gang of friends with similarly equipped Tanks or a club there will not be much in the way of targets,
and third, if you are a member of a club that fights with "IR" then the rules lay down the standard of "IR" to fight with, and that is "TAMIYA" and neither HENG LONG/TAIGEN/TORRO use TAMIYA standard IR which means if you want to be serious about fighting your Tanks you would need a new control board such as a CLARK or an IBU2 that can convert the signal, sorry about the complications,
Me I love the "Airsoft" the cat a bit less so :haha: :haha:
The T34 is a cracker but to look right needs a suspension mod which you will find somewhere on the pages of the Forum, just type in the words describing your query into the search box which is on the top right hand side of the page, CLICK and scroll till you find what you want and job done.
Enjoy this place and ask all the questions you want, and as you are discovering there are lots of your countrymen here who will be pleased to offer the hand of friendship I am sure.     shaun
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Glad to have you along mate. I've been to Calgary then on to Red Deer for drilling stuff. And it snowed for me! Much to the locals dismay.
Great thing about this pastime we do is sooner or later the wives reach that"understanding" stage, you are home, quiet, leaving them alone, and might cut down on the drink !!(well maybe not that)!!
Don't hold back from asking, it's far better than a repair job.

Cheers
