Help with photo etch please

Help with photo etch please

My photo etch grills from Welsh Dragon arrived yesterday. I am in need of a little guidance from those of you who have installed it. My question is, do I cut away the plastic grill areas on my Tiger 1 before installing or do I simply lay the photo etch over them? Thanks

Well, I don't know what your model is like, but perhaps this real Tiger will help?

Joe, Welcome to the wonderful world of PE and say good bye to decent eye-sight, Make sure you have the grille's in the correct position bearing in mind the CUT OUTs for the engine grille hinges at the rear and the CUT OUTs for the oil and petrol/gasoline caps on the front grille's the ones with the + on them, Smear CA on the plastic grill of the body and lay the PE GRILLE' on it then place a flat weight upon it and let the glue dry then using a file or abrasive block trim the overhang on the edges if necessary. :thumbup: shaun. ps book an appointment with an optician afterwards! :haha:

The job came out well Shaun, and it wasn't too bad. I painted them first and then glued them in place. It made a nice difference in the look of the tank. Now to give them a little worn look. Next will be to paint the tools and get them installed. Thanks for the help.
