Michael Hallo, This is what I use, First the Magnets, from www.first4magnets.com
product number/s F102N /F102S size 10mm outside diameter x 3mm inside diameter x 2mm Countersunk, Packs of 10 cost £5.10 per pack.
Now the Screws. from www.modelfixings.co.uk
MF-CS-16s M3 (3mm)x10 stainless steel countersunk screws (these use a HEX spanner to drive them not a pozi or phillips or slot)
You do of course have to be prepared to adjust the hight of the plastic turrets that they will be fixed to. The screws are NOT self tapping but they have given me no problems and grip well although every fixing on my Tanks is always bolstered with a liberal dose of THREAD LOCK. I hope that helps. shaun
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Thanks for all the replies guys. Guess I'll take a look at getting the magnets mentioned. Can someone please explain about what rare earth magnets are ? Sounds like something expensive to me !

Trailbiker Hallo, If you go to http://www.first4magnets.com you will discover an explanation of what "Neodymiun rare earth magnets" are and you will be surprised as I was how cheap they are, and how many varieties there are. Well worth a look. shaun

Hi Trailbiker, you could always try the actual quick release system that Torro and Taigen use:

Quite cheap too.

This one is design for the Taigen/Torro Tiger I lower and would need quite some work to make it work on a Leo if at all.

Thanks, Merlin. Have had a quick look at the website, and it's difficult to tell how that bracket is going to work, with no instructions. I agree with MichaelC that it probably would take too much effort to do. Looks like magnets it is then !!
Thanks for all the suggestions.

Hi Trailbiker, it is very very simple,
1. you bolt it in 4 places to lower hull at the rear.
2. You attach the top connectors to the rear upper screw points.
3. Drill a small bore hole under the rear left quarter directly under the slide to attach the opening lever.
4. It's done :)

Have got my magnets from www.first4magnets.com, but before I fit them, can someone tell me if they're going to affect anything electronic in the hull of the tank ? Some of the attachments are quite close to my IBU2 board.
I'm assuming I won't need to use all the 8 original fixing points, as they will be strong enough.

Hallo Trailbiker, I have never needed more than 4 mounting points for my Tanks when using magnets, that is with PANZER 4s , the LEO being longer may need a couple more but that should be more than enough, Use the rearmost/foremost mounting posts first and see if that is enough. shaun
