Stevie
I need a couple of sets for future builds so I'll be very interested in what you do![/quote
Got the wheels from Germany they are similar to the wheels I have in my Fehrmann Tiger they are made of solid billet very nice wheels these ones have bearings in them as well they cost 200 euros but I think they are worth it. I got the vents for the top of the turret from Forgebear but he is on holiday now till later in the month if you are looking for them Maxmekker.

Done the painting on the hull turret and wheels even managed to weather the wheels had to rub off the paint using a sander to get the rims back to metal.

You could of just run the tank to get the wheels back to bare metal dude, well if you are using metal tracks would not of took long, chips my paint off the wheels/ sprocket/ idler in couple of hours, although if your using plastic/resin tracks am not sure how long! Looking good though I like your camo scheme mate

Yeah I guess it depends on the weight too, my tiger ways in over 16lb/ 8kg ish prob helps scape it off, it would pain me to grind of my paint job though!

Hello,

great work and a very nice paintjob on the late TigerI .

How are you satisfied with the running characteristics of wheels?

Because of the wheels ...... until mid-April, I should have new sets wheels in the shop.

regards,Guido ;)

Stevie, your late tiger is beautiful! You've done it the hard way starting with a Tamiya but it's really paid off! The wheels are excellent, I'll be ordering a couple of sets when you do the next batch guido.
