Urgent Help please.

I have a problem with my new PZ4 from Tankzone. I get weak machine gun sound and no flash from cupola, or flashing headlights when m/g operated. I get this gun and light  flashing ok on all my other tanks but Tankzone says this tank does not have flashing m/.g or headlights. Their advert says it does.

WHAT SAY YOU GUYS... ARE I BEING STUFFED PLAESE, IS THIS TANK FAULTY?

when you say the sound is 'weak' do you mean not very loud or it doesn't sound right or its not their atall

I know that if you turn up the motor volume you drown out the m/g and cannon sound as they are not turned up with the motor.

I was just pointing out that I did have m/g sound even if it was weak.... but no  Flash from anywhere as I had on other tanks...so I have a useless upgrade m/g which Tanzone supplied me with when they knew that I wouldnt need it if they are correct in saying that there is no flash on the PZ4. Their advert does say cupola flash but they say it shouldnt have one....confused...I bloody well am.

I think I am being lied to....so I need to know if anyone has a standard HL PZ4 with m/g flash... or headlight flash

If  they are rite then they need to alter their advert, and I need to know how you pick up m/g flash on a RX14  card.

I think the RX 14 card or tank is faulty.......what say you???

Problem is very basic.

All my HL tanks have a flashing light on the cupola when you press the m/g button on the transmitter.  My Tiger, Pershing  and PZ3 have flashing light on the cupola and the headlights flash at the same time when you press m/g button on the transmiter. This flashing occurs along with the m/g soung from the tank.

I get the m/g sound...although quite weak.....but no lights flash at all on the PZ4.  This seems wrong compared to all my other tanks.

Tankzone said that you dont get m/g flash on PZ4...yet they sold me an upgrade m/g to fit in the tank. The advert on their site says you get a flashing light on cupola.

I wondered if anyone has a PZ4 and does the m/g on the tank flash when you press m/g button on the transmitter?????

Just checked my stock pzIV.

Lights work like normal HL's
NO m/g flash.


Open it up and check the wires.

It is possible to fit a flashing M/G light (I did it to my Tiger) check the HL electronics section.

mickyb check the connection of the large grey resistor under the board make sure its not touching the board or broke free

the feed for the mg is usally taken from the led in the turret

I didnt want to open up the tank yet so I thought I would ask you lot first.

Just checked all my stock tanks and there is a led behind the m/g on the cupola that flashes along with m/g sound. All my stock tanks have slight flickering of headlights along with this flashing m/g LED and m/g sound.

The new PZ4 does not have a flashing LED on the cupola, and the headlights do not flicker. This seems wrong.

I wanted to know what yours did before I opened it up. Knowing my luck I will bugger something and Kin wont accept it back as damaged.

If you look at their website and advert for the PZ4 it says "flashing light on cupola along with m/g sound". I e mailed Tankzone and Kin mailed me back saying PZ4 has no flash!

Isnt that wierd...its different to all other hl tanks and at odds with their advert.

So I pulled it apart and found no led behind the cupola. In fact you can see there isnt by looking between the turret and cupola. Pillock!!!

I will now crawl back under my rock......you shouldnt invite senile old men on board you know.......
