Thank you all for your positive comments. This is the first tank of mine I have felt worthy of entering in the show off section.

Sir George was in a bit of a bad way a few months ago when I got him. Minor repairs needed to the traverse, MG's, hatches and some missing detail parts from the kit as well as the extras it now has. Still not finished, new Nick Aguilar transmission cover and air vent grills still to arrive. But now pretty happy with him.

He battles well, with IR emitter mounted in barrel in front of the flash. Quite a mover round the battlefield, controls well with a Turnigy 9X and not felt the need yet to flash it with TankERx.

Hadn't planned to detail him up, but once started I just got carried away!! Not bad looking for a selection of Olive drab I was given and some thirty year old Citadel Miniatures paints!! Sir George is by far my best battler now and still my cheapest Tam.

I think Shermans are great runners...no matter what brand they are...they kind of mimic the real deal... in a way I can understand why some crews actually liked the tank as they were maneuverable and fast ...I would think the only tank that can match it in RC is the Panzer series ...excluding the fixed gun mounts ....Super nimble ..great in tight quarters...Excellent build TK... you should also think about adding this to the Sherman thread ;)
