They're "on sale" right now and they look good but I was just wondering if they're ok, or junk anyone know?
Does anyone know?

Jack,
I mentioned earlier that the VS IR and BB tanks are high quality, much more so than the Forces of Valor 1/24 scale IR tanks. They will run outdoors and indoors and have full suspensions and come in two grades, one with rubber tracks and one with pinned plastic tracks. Tokyo Marui is even higher grade, from Japan but limited to the Tiger 1 in WWII stuff.
regards,
Painless

I thought these the ones you were talking about but I wanted to double check. I may see about getting that King Tiger Friday if I have enough in my paycheck. I'd like to get it while its on sale but we'll have to see how the bills play out. Cross your fingers for me!
And damn Painless how many tanks do you own? It sounds like Poland needs to watch out for you!

Jack,
You'll like the King Tiger but bear in mind that the price for one of the nice 1/24 scale tanks is roughly equal to a 1/16 HL or grade one Taigen. That's pretty much why I stopped collecting them. They're great fun, I just enjoy the larger scales more as I get older. How many? A few here and there. ;o)

No not switching scales, but I'm going to be changing to a regional run with work and will be spending half my time in a company motel and it gets boring as hell sitting around for 10+ hours waiting for a return train home so I want something to kill the time with. I was looking at the 1/72 scale ones but can't find any I really like other then 1 Tiger on Ebay and its a bid item, I may try to get it but if I can't one of these 1/24th scale tanks should do nicely.
