My Armour

Here they are, (well 5 anyway - the replacement Tiger is in a box in the garage!) My collection of Heng Long Armour. All awaiting work and upgrading, not sure if I should start with the Stug; I like the idea of the Schurtzen, but not confident or skilled enough to complete it! But I do like the idea of getting the return rollers right  (which would be hidden by the Schurtzen anyway!) I already have some metal tracks etc so maybe that or a Pz III first!

I want to get the Pz IV upgraded too, change the barrel over for a longer one (F2) and maybe add the recoil. The other (non smoking) PzIII might get a radical makeover at a (much) later date. Perhaps to something unusual.

The Tiger took a tumble; I've looked around for a cheap non runner to do a lower hull swap, but have been unlucky so far (flea-bay) I have stick on zimmeritt and 2 sets of metal tracks, as well as gear boxes that were intended for 1 or both of the Tigers. Long term projects me thinks!

Nice selection of tanks you have there Andy, looks like you have plenty of work ahead of you if you are going to mod them all

Probably going to do the Stug first, followed by the Pz IV (I have plans...) and then the Tiger. Having said that, I'll probably tackle them together....
