Just looked at the TAIGEN TIGER1 they are selling, they say it is the latest model yet it still has the moulded tools and the VERY wrong headlights but you are getting a TAIGEN TIGER 1 full option AND I would avoid these people with all the strength I can muster, why? £89.99 is why, it is either a rip off or the things have just fallen off the back of a lorry (truck) You would have to shop for a very long time to find a full option HENG LONG TIGER 1 for that price!!!! And no matter what I tried I could not discover an address for them. shaun

He's also a member ed...so even if you are not ready to purchase ...you could just PM him and get a feel of what he is like...Took me a little while to order from him...but that was because he was always sold out of stuff
Another quick question should I get a 27 radio tank with metal or a 2.4 with plastic?

Hi edpanzer ,
As far as the radio goes... the 27 is fine if you are running the tank around by yourself or with a few others especially as a first tank.
The 2.4 is the more modern system the tank is actually coded to the individual receiver so in theory there is no limit to the number of tanks that could be run at once. It has a longer range and does not need an external aerial...BUT..its more expensive....
.
Metal tracks and sprockets look better and add more weight to the tank.. but it needs metal gearboxes to drive it and so the whole tank is literally heavier. Personally I like the metal versions,
but many people on here prefer the plastic because it is cheaper and the tanks will run faster, because the gearboxes are higher ratio.

Boils down to funds Shaun and impatience to get both I would have to save until may whereas one option or the other I can get one early February I think I will go metal and upgrade the radio later as it seams the cheaper way
Thanks for the help guys

I went the other way, got the better radio gear and may go metal later. But, your way you just buy another tank with 2.4GHz set and a spare receiver...
To be honest I'm going to try and stop trawling the net my brain is fried I will just look for the best deal on the day I'm ready to buy not even sure which model I want I like them all...except the Sherman's (first time I heard my grandad swear was when he spoke about the Ronson he was assigned to as a driver in the war and I can imagine him spinning in his grave if I bought one Lol.)
