So my five and two to eight pin connector harness plugs in here, but what does the eight pin side plug into? I've gotten the upgrade to HL IR BAttle, but this does not make sense to me....

I figured it out.

The instructions showed connecting the IR sender and receiver to an eight pin chassis mount plug- I thought this was THE eight pin plug that is in the upper hull of a Heng Long tank for turret control. My upgrade kit did not have the extra plug needed. I had thought that the IR piggybacked on the harness, while it actually has a second harness that goes into the turret. I think I understand now....
