Happy New Year all.

I thought I'd start this year by sharing the unboxing of my new Torro King Tiger.
It is the new version with IR, black steel gears & 360 turret rotation in desert paintscheme.

I think I will be doing a what if Afrika Korps KT with this.













I'm amazed with the size of this in comparison to my Tiger, it's got quite a presence to it when it's parked next to my other tanks and pretty much dwarves my Sherman.

Great unboxing, thank you. Yes, the King Tiger has a presence. Of that, there is no doubt. This specimen looks pretty sweet right out of the very nice box. Lots of metal add-ons that will save you cash in the long run. Your hand picked crew looks very pleased.

Thanks for the comments guys, yes my crew is very happy.

Horses & John I spent ages looking for some decent 1/18 guys I could use in all my tanks, it's just a shame you can't find a decent American crew so I can crew my sherman.

Painless yes I'm glad for all the metal upgrades it comes with, the weight is massive in comparison to my taigen tiger.
I've still a lot to do and many more upgrades to purchase but it's a decent starting block.

Hi Alpha thanks, now you mention it I could always get a Porsche turret for it then I can have both variants of the KT and just use the one hull.

HMMMMMMMMMMMMM ... not sure that can work Merlin...there's a slight difference in the Porsche tiger's turret mounting ...How about a KV2 turret with a JS2 barrel...a true Monster would be created ......
