Re: Anyone want a Taigen Sherman?
Good Afternoon,
It went for 305.00 with just one earlier bid. Either the 65.00 shipping or the 'Used' must have put folks off. I really like the Taigen line of tanks but think that 3-400.00 is a more realistic price for their top of the line offerings than the 5-600.00 they expect buyers to pay new. If they were putting IBU2s in them with regular TX's then yes.
regards,
Painless

...Money!? What's that!?...

To a certain degree I agree with your pricing assessment Painless...the price is a little high ... the thing is ..it is still consistent with most of their products...I think if I didn't have to modify it to fit into my collection...and if it were a "first time" purchase of a Sherman...the Taigen would be a pretty nice buy...but at this point ...it would serve as a parts platform...which is still a 50 /50 investment...so for now...I'm pretty satisfied with the Heng Long Sherman...just because of it's workabilityPainlessWolf wrote:Good Afternoon,

Alpha,
I agree about Taigen being a nice buy even their parts. I was tempted by this one, I admit. I already have two top drawer Shermans tho'. "Maxene' will eventually benefit from one of these Taigen all metal lowers. It's just not on the list right now.

Same here Painless... both of mine don't "need" improvements....but what I do "need" is a FireflyPainlessWolf wrote:Alpha,

so the Taigen takes a back seat to the more pliable Heng Long
