Re: website safety
A quick look at their payment conditions shows that if you're outside of Indonesia you can only pay by money transfer which means you wont be protected like you would with a credit card.
I would say that this fits squarely into the "if it looks too good to be true" category myself.

Re: website safety
Good info and link. As the old saying goes, there is no such thing as a free lunch.
The internet is a minefield when ordering from unknown sources, so my golden rule is to buy from known UK sources where possible, established European suppliers, or the dreaded Ebay as at least I get buyer protection. I did open an account with Buy China (they are agents for Taobao - cheapest place for Chinese goods, but you have to be in China to use it) in an attempt to obtain an SLU IR apple last year but even thought they were advertised on the site they couldn't deliver. However, to their credit they did advise me of this, and after a couple of emails in perfect English, I was given a refund.

Re: website safety
You are normally protected using ebay as wibblywobbly quite rightly points out. Cheapest isn't always best and can often end in tears and some of the cleverest scams prey on people's greed or at least their appetite for a bargain.
A few years ago I stayed up late one evening to bid on e bay on a new computer and I won the auction. I paid with Paypal and nothing ever came. I made a claim through the credit card (RBS) after drawing a blank with Paypal and they credited the charge back to my account. A few months later it re-appeared on my statement - when I complained they insisted that I would have to pay it. This ended up going on for over 18 months, eventually they would drop it but then re-apply it at a later date. I told them in no uncertain terms that I wasn't about to pay for goods that never reached me. Eventually they passed it on to scum bag debt collectors and I would get unwelcome phone calls and reams of letters stating that I now owed £XXX - they kept adding crazy charges to the original amount. This is all part of their bullying tactics so that people get frightened and pay for fear of it spiralling out of control. After the third bunch of goons sold on the debt to the fourth bunch of goons I realised that trying to use logic to reason with them was a complete and utter waste of breath. The calls and the "solicitors" letters kept coming until one day they threatened me with court - I replied "yes please - I'll look forward to it". My court date came through and I opted for it to be heard at my local court and on the day I presented my chronological list of bullying letters/statements to the judge. The end result was that I sent RBS away with a bloody nose. The judge found in my favour that the debt did not stand as the vendor and the credit card company were equally and jointly liable for "the debt". That is the beauty of the Consumer Credit Act and using a credit card for your purchases
