Re: Xmas pressie
Use a metal coat hanger to make the bows that hold it up and then go to a craft store and get some canvas and a sewing needle and thread and make your own.

same as you would any tarp that you roll up and put on a tank ! Coat hangar seems a bit thick ! I have a roll of wire you could use ? think it might me from "Tutu wire the stuff they make ballerina costumes from. It seems more in scale AND very rigid. Can take some pics if you want.

Re: Xmas pressie
If you do go the way of the tarp...a super easy way I used to do it ....though many have more expensive ways of doing it ....this has been my way for a long long long time wet a paper towel and drape it over the ribbing...let it dry in the sun so it stiffens...take it off the ribbing and spray it with a shaker can ....I used to make complete scenes using this method...great for dioramas and stuff...Horses45 wrote:Now to decide what way to change it, anyone have an idea as to what to use as a tarp top if I go that way ?
