is it worth running a lipo battery

If you've been into RC cars then your speed controllers have probably had a lipo cutoff within them, the tanks don't. I run 2s lipos in my tanks but only with lipo alarms attached. They are cheap, between 3-10.00 us. They will keep you from having a cell drop below 3.3 volts. Lipo safety my friend, Lipo safety, can't stress it enough.

Size power and longevity Rocket....once you use them ...you won't go back to NmHi or Nicds

Wingnut, Something that I should have said earlier is that when you get a new LI-PO battery it will arrive HALF CHARGED and so the first thing to do after checking it is undamaged is to put it on a LI-PO CHARGER, a NICD/ NIMH charger will not do. shaun
