Re: Sov's Tiger Build
Cost is a by product of necessity = if you dont need it-there is no cost- if you do need it= there is a cost regardless of what that is.
Its the dedication to not 'settle' for good enough that gets me.

Oh lawdy, dat feels. Yup, that describes my feeling on this tank perfectly.HERMAN BIX wrote:not 'settle' for good enough
Been so damn busy I haven't been able to even chip away much but I did get started again.
Remounted all the fenders in the proper place, as my hardware came in. You can see the nice gap between each one here that did not exist before. Also got a decent portion of the rear fenders soldered together.

There, that's a bit better.
More detail my eyes picked up on: Added the cut-outs that the early fenders had, as these fenders are from a late Tiger.
Going to solder them to the brass frames so they don't fall off the tank in operation.

Re: Sov's Tiger Build
Alright, just spamming for my own sake now. I was really thrilled to see how well they attached to the frames. Yet again, functional. The mudflaps actually flap quiet easily. They are loose enough to come down under their own weight if ever flipped up!
This is solid, no way it's going to break in the field. For a model this thing is tough!

Re: Sov's Tiger Build
So, how about selling on the Charger & just building a 1-1 scale tiger mate

I've considered it... Blasted wallet then jumped off my desk and smacked me in the face. Those left-over T-34s are much cheaper anyway.

Still, your Tiger looks amazing Tom. We know that you can paint, I have done nothing more than hold my airbrush in hand.
P.S. Still waiting on that video of #111 doing a nice run through the mud.
