Jack was probably a little jealous or giving you a hint to get building again....kids do that sometimes

I feel your pain....just remember these tanks are pretty durable and are totally material...Jack will be your buddy forever

Hey Mike... I'm going to need that pershing barrel you lent me againsassgrunt wrote:Unfortunately, our timing for me to have transported this was a couple of days off - I just got back here and am reading this in the wee hours. This is a great shame, but I agree with Alpha, Painless - it certainly does look repairable. (I'll bet Belton Cooper would have taken on the job)! -Mike

Painless, it's a pitty that this thing happens to such well done tank, but it seems to me too, that it's really repairable.
Head up! And You make it excellent as before!![]()
You sure Painless....did you try to pass a bb through the barrel?.....With that said...Good for you for proceeding with the repair...It's how I felt when My L70 took the header because of my nephew...(yeah he knocked it off the work stand)...but what can you do but just deal with it....Give Wyland a good hug (NO I did not hug my nephew...that technique doesn't work on humansPainlessWolf wrote:Morning all,
Let me thank you all for the encouragement. I have two Greyhounds. Waylon is the one at fault. Jack, the older one, is blameless in this. I woke up this morning and resolved that rather than abandon Waylon back to the Rescue, I'm going to give him what he was asking for when he did this, attention. He may not like it at times but it's what he wants most. As far as the tank goes, Thank you, Alpha, but the barrel is useable again. I corrected it last night after I disassembled everything to see how bad it was. ( and it _was_bad ) I can reuse the upper part of the turret after I repair the detail and the figure.. It will need new paint and markings but , oh well. I am ordering a new airgun, feed tray, turret lower and smoker today. Everything else I can remake. The big loss in all of this is time. I had two free weeks to relax before the Tiger build started up. Now I do not.
regards and again, thanks to you all,
Painless
