These things are immense, the noise they make is equally so.

If you like this Jake search YouTube for the worlds biggest rc C-17 Globemaster, it was made by the techies from my home airbase and carries a 1/12th scale rc hummer in the rear end that they drive out during a tactical drop landing.

I thought we as rc Tankies dug deep into our pockets but these guys take it to a whole new level.

As a ball park, the basic and smallest RC jet turbine comes in at around £2500.

A few video reasons for giving up RC aircraft

Caption for this one ... Think he could have saved it if he cut the throttle :haha:

Caption for this one... Hot landing :D

Last but not least..because there are a lot more... The G force was with him :haha:

Ok...I might laugh at these accidents..it doesn't mean I disrespect the hobbyists .... I was there with them at one time ... and at that time I fully knew what the circumstance of fighting gravity would be....I'm sure all of the modellers though distraught salvaged rebuilt... and flew again :D

Similar sort of thing to real aircraft that when you crash them especially the jet turbine ones, you have to send them away to be dismantled and ultrasonically tested for defects before it can be used again.

That can cost thousands too :(
