Myy tank collection

Post by jtracks »

Thought it was about time I learned to post some pics. So here is my tank collection so far. Tanks, painting, weathering, and adding pieces is all new to me. Any and all feedback is welcome for my learning experience.

First off my HL Sherman air soft this is my second tank. I picked this up for under a $100.00 US with metal tracks, gear boxes, drive and idler wheels, and the 2.4GHZ.ImageImage

Next is my Taigen Panzer IV IR. This tank came with the winter camo paint which they did a terrible job on in my opinion. So I purchased an airbrush and tried my hand at painting. I don't know if a Panzer IV ever looked like this but I like it better than what I had. I have lowered the rear roller by 4mm and installed two metal hatches up front.ImageImage

Last but not least is my Taigen T-34/85 IR. Just a couple of chains added here to retain the spare tracks and tow cables.

Thanks for looking.

Joe,
Very nice tanks and a beautiful setting for photos. ;o) The Taigen Pz IV came out looking good. To add a tiny bit more detail and realism, sand or file down the HL style frogeye headlights and put the black out covers on them. You can make them from sheet styrene or they are available from Welsh Dragon, Forgebear or any number of vendors. The ones off of a Tamiya parts sprue will work perfectly as well.

Painless
