Gear box shaft size
While shopping for some black steel gear boxes, I've noticed that they specify short shaft, standard, or long shaft. I will assume that they are speaking of the out put shaft that the drive wheel attaches to, yes/no. So how does one know what shaft length they have? Thank you. Joe

Hi Joe, The best way to describe it is to go to http://www.welshdragonmodels.com click on "gearboxes" you will see a drop down menu with 3 lists, click on each one and read the heading. With that information you can shop around for the right gearboxes.

Re: Gear box shaft size
If you have a Tiger they take the short output shaft length. King Tigers take the long output shafts and are a double bitch to find! Took me 4 vendors and 2 months to get the right damn gearboxes!
