Best thing to do is show people graphs, ones from the country they live in showing what they most don't want to know. But some people will always wear tin foil. And always remember what Dr Johnson said: "Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel". It couldn't be more true in this day and age.jackalope wrote:Bill, I did not know a 17 pounder could go all the way thru a Tiger, wow! But they're referring to the scene where the Shermans shells were just bouncing off the front of the Tiger which is why I said I didn't think even a 17 pounder could get thru the frontal armor. But as to what a Tiger could do to a Sherman. I was SHOCKED at the level of pure ignorance displayed by some of the replies saying an 88 wouldn't be able to do what it did to the Sherman.
As to Alpha he is a great guy, has helped me out a bunch! With that said I've gotten great help from ALL of you in fact I haven't found a single person here to be anything other then polite, helpful and supportive which in this day and age is a rare thing to behold.
