NAH.... I shaded mine Herman doesn't have to ...super easy and less trouble than stencils.... plus you can vary the size ...but it's not up to me..it's up to Herman...Stencils take too long to place ...don't know ...too much trouble for me ...if I want a super perfect circle ...I'd just use my flow pencil
Im sure I will figure it out !!...................nice go mate by the way.
I do rather prefer your actual Tiger paint though
Got some apparent yee-ha hi-torque motors for the big fella, pinions in the wrong place out of the bag so will need to sort them out. Black one is the hi-torque, silver is the ones that came with the 4:1 reduction boxes.
Did a bit of filling ,and popping of the glue guys best work from the back plate !
Drilled out the remaining spigots from the plastic exhaust pipes & armoured surrounds ready for the new metal gear to go on.
Left the holes from the jack block & tow clevices as I figured they would be useful indexes for the replacements.
Did go out on Sunday & buy a Ryobi version of a Dremel. More power by 30 watts, half the price, same range of accessories(also at half the price) a telescopic hanger for the main unit with a 3 ft flex drive to the tool and a 72 piece gadget set all for $99 inclusive.
Cant wait to hack the mud guards off with the rip saw & sand back the rest flush to the hull in 10 seconds flat
Also got a new turn table from Ikea for $12 bucks thats bigger and made of wood so I can return the expensive glass one back to the kitchen (if its not all munted from paint & glue that is.)

Well I just wanted to see how the suckers would go with an airbrush lol.... used my worst gun ....still pretty easy process... shoot the white..then chase the center with the darker color... made sure to have plenty of practice newsprint on the side to check where my flow had to be
The paint on this one doesn't matter... it's going to go to GUP when I have more time to scrap out the internals
So when I do my KTs....there's a good chance I will have three to contend with at the same time
Herman Hi, I know that ALPHA is persona non grata pro tem, but he offered me a very useful tip when it comes to sanding, raid your lady's dressing table and take a handful of EMERY BOARDS, they are great for getting into tight spots and can be easily trimmed to any particular shape, I know that New Zealanders are supposed to be rough and tough but PLEASE wear a face mask while sanding otherwise that smokers cough just might be something worse! shaun
This mother is huge compared to the PzIII schlepper. Ive just been sanding the OEM penetrations flat after filling, removed the forward hatch moulded handles & replaced them with paper clip bent ones melted through & superglued.
Oriented the engine hatch lifting hooks, cleaned & red oxide primed the roadwheels, and mounted the metal suspension arms.
Repositioned the aerial to its right place but had to lose the moulded base which was a shame.
On the weekend the guards will be victimised by my Ryobi 'dremel' tool & the hull sides smoothed off ready for some texture material.
During the rest of this week I will burn in the weld on all the hull plates, which will also be a mind numbing event
I can reinstate the smoker tubes onto the metal exhaust hardware & close the big fella up ready for primer.
Im sure that little plan will disolve quicker than a fart in a force 9 gale, but a man needs a goal eh
