Right, cheers Alpha, there's only one review I could find on you tube, it does look pretty decent and it work well at low psi..can't see a problem with the grip...

Hey Painless ...the flow pencil is like an elaborate fountain pen...doesn't require any pressure..the trigger controls the flow ..which is pure gravity fed...there is no atomization ...your mix has to be almost perfect to use each tip...PainlessWolf wrote:Good Morning,
I'm very interested in the flow pencil and wonder if any airguns out there use that tip that can be switched out with others to have an all-in-one gun?
regards,
Painless
Nothing on the flow pencil will work on an airbrush..the closest in it's family is a mini sand blasting kit... so no ...it cannot be combined with any other device
The flow pencil would work perfectly for lining ....I used to use it on sci fi models and aircraft...to define the many lines on the model...on these tanks...though I really haven't tried it out on one... I'm sure it could be used in the same way...and also weld definition

Go for it Jake....personally I'm not a handle guy lol... I like the control on the regular airbrush... not to mention I'm used to cradling the gun ...not holding it like one lol. never got the passche version ....pretty much because of that...takes a little getting used to that trigger...you tend to pull it back all the time...making it more like a single action gun.... as you can see...mine are all dual action...and I can vary the line I want by rolling my finger on the trigger... the gun trigger has a different feel...but if you do get it ...I'm sure getting used to it shouldn't be a problemJake79 wrote:Right, cheers Alpha, there's only one review I could find on you tube, it does look pretty decent and it work well at low psi..can't see a problem with the grip...

You have the talent my boy!
Now, since you are in a creative mood, I like the Tiger camo BUT what would be cool is if you did it in proper German colours so that it would look the way it would of if a crew had decided to have a little fun with their air brush!LOL!
Just a thought...

Tell you what Dgsselkirk.... since I'm still in practice mode...throw me a bone....especially since I'm not up to snuff on Historical paint jobs...choose between the two tanks... the T34 or the KT... make sure the paint scheme isn't easy... it would be a good test for medgsselkirk wrote:You have the talent my boy!![]()

OK...since I didn't want to leave the KT as a Herschel kiss tank....and since dgsselkirk hasn't gotten me a bone... thought the paint job Herman was going to attempt...might be a challenge.........Only with an airbrush... can you change a Herschel kiss tank into ...
... Octopus Tank ..........

Wow Alpha they look really good! How much do those kind of airbrushes run? Looks like I need to seriously upgrade my tools!
Oh well at least my little Badger 250 kit was less then $50 so I'm not out too much.

Re: Only with an airbrush
Thanks Jack....that Badger should be able to give you similar results...it's very similar to the two perforated handled ones I have...the Passche is not bad on Ebay...I bought mine retail ...long before Ebay for twice the price...and I have three of those lol...I just like the feel..and the ease of clean up...the other two take a little more time because of how the paint nozzles are... they are the same as badgerjackalope wrote:Wow Alpha they look really good! If you go shopping look for the VL they used to be the top of the line brushes Passche put out...they have since been replaced by the new gravity feed guns...not a fan of those... low pressure... high volume... but low paint capacity ...color changes are also a pain in the rear
With these I can either just blow out the residual paint in the gun...or flush it with reducer ..then switch color ...gravity feeds you have to clean the gun ...just to make sure you don't get a color change from any left over color
It's fun though Jack...
