Tiger II engine deck smells like burning?

I've just ran my HL Tiger II for the first time in a while and after I turned it off I smelt burning once I smelt the engine deck? I hope it's nothing serious

Sorry about that brain misfuction there . It could be the RX18 the best way to check is to remove the top hull switch on and watch and smell if it is the RX unplug. If it has got to that stage it might be burnt out. Also check all the wires to make sure there is no shorts. Hopes this helps. Brian...

I have to ask, do you normally sniff your tanks? Kidding! Was the smoker turned on and did you have fluid in it?

Hahaha I smelt burning so I had a sniff the tank has fluid in it but I never use it, the last time I used it was almost half a year ago

if its not been used in a while it could just be dust on motor armature, com and brushes , i get it when ever i use one of my rc cars that has not had use in a while

NO SOAP AND WATER! Go to the auto parts store and find electrical contact cleaner it works very well.
