Heng Long On/Off Switch

After getting well fed up reaching underneath for the on/off switch I finally decided to move it, Not wanting it in the turret hatch and lacking the funds for opening front hatches I came up with this. I removed the small triangular thing ( not sure what its for in real life ? )  between the exhausts, made a small slot in the rear panel and used epoxy to mount the original switch ( it could be screwed on but I didnt want the screw heads visible,  oh be careful not to get epoxy in the end of the switch ! ) , I then trimmed down the small standoffs on the back of the triangular thing , using a hot needle I made a small hole in the centre of the black plastic part of the switch and used one of the original switch mounting self tappers through the triangular thing and into the plastic part of the switch. Quick job to extend the wiring to the board. Works great and apart from the small screw (yet to be painted in photo)  the switch is totally hidden yet easy to access. Hope it helps someone .

              that triangular plate is the crank starter plate, if they had to crank it over by hand they put the crank handle through the big hole in the middle of the plate. or at least i think thats where they put it

thats what its for, but one end of the crank was connected to another vehicle and the other to the stalled tiger, when the vehicle kicked over its engine it basically bumped or jump started the other one...

Well I hope it starts on the button cos  there's a self tapper blocking up the hole now

How did that work? If Tigers were back to back and engines were conected via a starting shaft then one engine would be running backwards ?? Unless there was some sort of gear involved ?
