Thanks Jake...I almost bought a broken M41 Bulldog last night on ebay but i got outbid. It was on impulse and I was actually glad i got outbid-i feel that tank simply is too plain, undistinguished, lacks character, if you will.
Still-I have all German tanks. T-34 is a tank i've seen in history books etc. for at least 40 years...the jagdapnther is awesome too though and I've built three of them in various scales through the years... and can do the zimm and cool camo...It's a tough choice.
The Hooben T-55 seems pretty cool also and unique, i'd even consider that if i see it at a good price... i guess i will just wait for the exact right time, and price, whatever "it' turns out to be...to further muddy the waters i'm even thinking of making the 1/32 lindberg PT 109 instead! Could go in any of the above directions, but to me it is all good fun. Thinking about the models, planning, re-engineering, fabricating, researching, and window shopping, sometimes approaching an obsession at times.
This hobby's changed my life in a good way as it gives one many small goals and feeling of accomplishment...(I have medical conditions that keep me largely housebound, and the hobby provides a kind of structure to life. And helps keeps one's occupied mind away from bad feelings or ennui.)

Re: What Should My Next Tank Be?
Hi Marc
I also have had a similar experience with the hobby, I to have been house bound for the past year, I've had six operation's and go in to hospital on Tuesday for two weeks or so
missing out on a lot of my life and my buisness..so having to have to put life on a bit of a back burner the tanks have also been a kind of saviour to me, they have stopped me feeling sorry for myself and given me something to focus on, learn new skill's receiving parcel's, one of my favourite pass times
and the sense of achievement that finishing something you didn't think you could do when you started brings..It looks like we have both been very lucky finding this hobby and long may it continue, It never would of crossed my mind a few years back that a hobby would become such a valuable aid in helping me through these rough times..this has to be one of the best hobbies out there....
Good luck choosing your tank..

Re: What Should My Next Tank Be?
thanks jake, I am waiting on some money to come in before i can even seriouslu think about another r/c hobby thing to buy...have to consider what to get and what it will need, a lot more before throwing more money at this hobby. The cost of them and the things we buy, do not seem that much at first, but the money I spend seems to pile up incredibly fast!
