Wash Questions

Post by Tricky13 »

Well just did my first wash on the Tiger, but I seem to have ended up with water marks, did dab off some of the excess, is there a fix? or is it a case of just trying to incorporate it into the general weathering look?

You can tidy up the marks with whatever thins the solution you used to wash with. So for enamel washes use white spirit. Did you pin wash? if so a good tip is to satin varnish the model then use capillary action to spread the wash around the detail. Once dry it's quicker to tidy up the excess.

If you're not happy just overspray with the original colour and try again.
