Here is a long suffering project that hasn't seen the light of day in a while. It is going back on the desk soon though to be finished.

Basic shots of my Tiger 1's and the Porsche King Tiger. All are slated for redos in the future except for maybe the original grey HL . That's a rare bird anymore to have one 95% unmodded. ( added a fire extinguisher, scale antenna and corrected the mantlet years ago. ) Added the box art of the upcoming winter build. That will be the Tiger of Tigers, at least in my little armor collection. ;o)

I think I used the wrong terminology when suggesting this thread... What I meant was a Dedicated CATEGORY... that way every Tiger or Sherman can have it's own thread... which would take a build from beginning to end...so in other words...from the box...to the process of build ...paint... and show off all together under the person who is doing it

However...what this thread does show...is how convenient it can be... one category... all the Tigers/Shermans ..no matter what brand...is there... showing upgrades and improvements in one viewing :D

I've always thought having sub categories for different tank types was a good idea. Worked well on rcrankregiment, makes it much easier to find the build your after.

Ok here's mine! First try at building a tank. Started off as a metal upgraded H/L Tiger in gray but I quickly started throwing tracks. Upgraded to a Taigen metal hull, Mato early metal road wheels, Taigen updated idler wheels, 4.1 steel geared gearboxes with high torque motors, all the hatches are metal so are the mud flaps, new aluminum Taigen mini ball machine gun, photo etched grills, relocated antenna, properly clocked commanders cupola, custom made switch bracket is located under the radio operators hatch, under the drivers hatch is a Traxxas style plug to re-charge the battery. Have a new Super Smoker II coming to blow smoke thru the modded mufflers that smokes thru the center hole where it should come out. Also removed the left side antenna tube that shouldn't be there. Gun blued the tracks followed by rust blued. Oh also correct headlights were installed and a little bit of battle damage. Needs a little bit more detail work but here she is!

It is not the pace of life that worrys me, its the sudden stop at the end.
