Taigen 3 in 1 Tank kit

Post by Jake79 »

Hi All

Have these kits been out for a while and I've just missed it, or are they new, I haven't heard anyone talk of these. If you want to take a look there for sale at Ozarmour..

You going to get one Jake...from Painless's review it was a bit disappointing...he thought you could build three different variants...but that wasn't so... :|

No Alpha, I was having a look round all the sites for some metal king Tiger tracks for a tank that should be here Friday and saw the Taigen to my surprise.

Good Morning, Jake,
I bought the kit thinking that you could build three different variants of the Tiger 1 but instead, it was 'Build the Early Tiger 1 as a Static, IR or Airsoft version' Am I disappointed? Resounding NO! *chuckles* I have been wanting to build a Tiger 1 from a kit for years and was finally on the edge of buying the Tamiya Afrika Corps one when this kit came out. I found one for 249.99 + shipping and snapped it up. I opened it and did the mini show off thread then reboxed everything. It is my Winter build this year and I am very much looking forward to it. This will be the kit that I finally use an IBU2 Pro in and a Hobby Grade TX. It has lots of extras to build the Tiger with and I have been really wanting an IR Tiger. I will need some detail parts (ala Tom Hugill) but nothing else. The Kit is _very_ complete. ( all the way down to a bucket, Alpha. Of course, I will use the copper one you sent me on it ;o) If you want one, Jake, shop around, there are still a few out there.
regards,
Painless

AH... Ok .... that kit has been around for awhile...it's a good thing in a way...because what it translates to is that the RTR Tiger is user friendly....as I'm sure it is based off the kit...or visa versa ;)

You got a KT? Which one...the Taigen?....I got the HL..mostly because it doesn't have the Zim molded onto the hull...I like em simple ;)
