This photo etch is slow work but very satisfying. As a change of pace I got working on the rear of the tank. Build up the convoy light reflector and the mounts for the C clamp. Building the c clamp mounts was intresting as I had to drill 1.5mm rod with a 1.2mm bit!

Some more done tonight, this lot took the whole of the shawshank redemption and more to do! I've completed the tetra fire extinguisher and one of the mounts for the jack.

All the hinges work.

They came close this morning, I snapped one of the pieces and welding it back together was a nightmare! Still tow cable holder is finished:

It gets worse, putting together the antenna is intresting. You have to make the butterfly screw up out of a couple photo etch bits, the main screw is less than a millemeter and the circular bit that attaches is less than 0.5mm! Usually I knackered them and bodge something else. However this time success! I've also added the detail for the Bosch headlight. I wish I had paid more attention as the headlight unit is practically identical to the ones on the early tiger and I have a couple schumo spares. Never mind!

;) So, how will you eliminate those round depressions over the driver's visor?
