michael ive only used the attak which ive adapted as its designed for a Tamiya 1.16 panther kit so again its a cut n shut to fit, the resin mantle that comes with the kit is superb but a little too narrow for the pantiger which is a shame.MichaelC wrote:Love the zims...... Is it a combination of Atak and puddy ? I am also surprised at how much bigger the PanTiger turret look when fitted onto a Panther G hull. Very interesting !

Couple more pics to show turret relocation on the deck now, and quick mock up of how should look when whole tank is done, will have side track guards /plates as well when done.

some more pics of work to deck, at rear the cowl or hood over vent was cut off and new round vent made with a metal washer placed over hole to give right shape and mesh from an old caffetierre used to give meshed insert to vent. Handles made for round inspection covers made from metal woodworking panel pins. At the front of the deck late panther g type lookouts were shaved off and new ones made and fitted . simulated bolts to hatch plate were made by drilling 1.5 holes and inserting small woodworking panel pins again then glued and cutoff underneath. hatch handles made from guess what ?, woodworking metal panel pins again holes drilled and glued in place. some deck plate joins altered, then whole thing redone in red primer again.

next more work to do on turret.
