Hi mtkboggle,

The Clark boards do not have customisable sounds. They come with a sound set that is programmed onto the board. You can choose different sound sets when you purchase, but them the sounds you have are not chagable.

The elmod and IBU2 both have sounds that can be tailored to what you want and are very easy to change. I am not sure of how easy it is to customise the sounds on other systems as I have little to no experience with them.

yes.the elmod would be for all my Heng Long tanks.
I have 2 Tamiya king tigers, one is vintage single motor and the other is new full option.
As well as using elmod for my HL gear,i could,if i wanted to, also use the elmod setup in the Tamiya instead of the dmd gear or i could use it in the vintage kit to add functions, aka sound so on.
But first and foremost elmod is for the HL.
Hope this helps and sorry if i confused anyone.
