Hi just bought the above last week, with metal gearbox and metal tracks, already I have had to by a new pair of gearboxes, as the originals had oversize holes in the bearings, causing it to slip the gears, anyway new boxes are in, and running well, but in a straight line the tank keeps veering to the right, and when I try to turn it to the left whilst running the whole tank slows right down, but moving to right is fine, any ideas as to problem guys.
cheers

Re: heng long king tiger
You tried the trim switches to compensate? If not maybe something binding/ stiff, could free up with abit of running in

Sounds like you've got a bit of a lemon. Could you ask where you got it from for an exchange?

I agree with big joe...the tank is only a week old.... see if the vendor you got it from will do something before ripping that baby apart

Concur with the others, send it back and get another one-some tanks seem bulletproof and run well, like my Tiger 1 for instance, some are just trouble from the get go and throwing money at them to try to fix them is money lost.
As for the steering issue it could be the transmitter. I haven't seen a Tx with trim from Heng long but if yours has it, and that doesn't fix it, return the whole works for a replacement. The seller would much rather do that then a refund, except you are out the shipping probably, but there's no way round that with either option.
