So any ideas and they will be a couple of bridges in there somewhere?
A suggestion Horses... figure out where you want your roads.... excavate a little and fill with fine mason rock.. the stuff they mix with cement ...to make sure it stays in place...get an industrial size gallon or so of elmers glue....mix it with a little dish soap... and water... treat the rock with this stuff ...let it dry out...it works pretty well... we used to use that mix for ballasting railroad tracks back in my club daysHorses45 wrote:Yep it's going to be good I hope just need to think what I could use for roads ? But me thinks looking at building a tank course thread will come in handy
You can do the mix in a bucket... just some light trench work in the garden...then just pour it in the trenches... they don't have to be deep ..not like cement... the plus is that the bed should remain relatively flexible when dry.... and also easy to maintain...unlike concrete pathways ...those are kind of brittle and really susceptible to cracking...This stuff isn't impervious... but if it does crack ...you just pour more elmers into itHorses45 wrote:Thanks for the tip alpha, sounds like a good plan there

...and of course a small scale river to fed it with a couple of bridges...
