I wd 40'd em and the are better. After they dry I think they will

Can I throw my 2p in? I would give it a good run on some gravel or loose abrasive surface. It should polish the bits in contact with the ground and give you realistic looking tracks. If the rust is too bright overspray with a brown/black wash.

You could wash them with your favorite car wash soap :D ...gives WD 40 the Deep six :thumbup:
