OK....just because it's for a Sherman.....Photobucket is easy... right click on the image...take the img info.... when you bring it here... look for the IMG icon on the toolbar above the reply window...click on it ....there will be two "img" icons that will pop up...one bracketed like this [...] the other like this [/...] paste the image info between them... preview ...then post :D

so this (image info)
https://smileyshack.files.wordpress.com ... ?w=42&h=38

put between these

will get you this

Hi alpha.
Many thanks for your reply, you must be sick of people trying to post pics on here and not being able to.
Sadly when I r/click on photo, I get no result, so I am unable to transport them.
So for now I am stuck, shame I think that they would be of interest.

John,

The other way to do is when you compose your reply, you can click on Full Editor button (right next to the Submit botton) and you will see an option to upload attachement. The only catch is that your pics has to be reduced to about 350k.

I used this method all the time as I don't use Photobucket.

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM  ...You using a pad ...phone ....or computer? ... for some reason they all have their own methodology...not all pads can put pictures on sites.... phones as well....the one option you might try but will have to look for is the area I think it's when you are in your library... and get the image info from there....that's all you really need

I have since switched to imgur... Zuul recommended it .... it's a better site that Photobucket IMO....much easier to navigate... and if you cannot right click on the image to pull up the properties... right on the side of the image has the HTTP ID

And don't worry about any inconvenience ...there isn't really any...I don't mind helping if I can... I just joke around a little here and there...reason for the grumpy waiting emoticon :haha:

I actually went through the same thing....and a Kind gentleman by the name of PantherAusf G helped me out :D

Hi Alpha.
Almost there, I followed the full editor instructions, but received the notice that my files were too big.
not being computer literate and 77 yrs old I am really in the poo .
But thanks to all for your advice.
I will keep at it.

Files are too big? really on Photobucket?.... they do have a resizing function...though I've never had to use it...imgur will do it automatically once you use the advanced editor..
I have to say... the biggest noticeable difference is how Photobucket loads here.... it's faster that imgur... but it's a minor thing IMO ...you might want to try there instead... sign up and everything was much easier than Photobucket...plus there isn't anything other than you loading going on

Hi Guys.
Have opened an account with imgur, and put all 10 shots in my album,
but when I r click, all I get is a drop down menu, which is confusing.
Any ideas where to go from there.

That's what you are supposed to get Wads.... the menu is the properties of the image... what you want to do is scroll down that menu and click on "VIEW IMAGE INFO"...another window will open...copy the image LOCATION...then paste it between the icons here on the board

Try a practice run... the emoticons on the sidebar... right click on one of those... and follow the steps I have given you... you should be able to get an idea of how it works... ;)

Good Luck... I'll be watching...so if you have questions just ask :D

By the Way Wads... I forgot to say...now that you are on imgur....when you browse your photos ... on the right side of each will be a list of four internet codes... the one with the HTTP on it can be copied and pasted here as well ;)
